An augmented reality shopping experience proposed for Publicis Groupe and NYC Media Lab’s effort to envision the future of retail.

VirtuaTry is a mobile application and a web browser plugin that integrates virtual reality into the shopping experience. Shoppers can use their measurements to create digital 3D models of themselves, allowing them to virtually try on apparel before purchasing online or in-store. The application offers a virtual assistant inspired shopping experience to each customer, providing recommendations for pieces of apparel based on the shopper’s tastes and measurements.
